Interesting question. At this point, I must point out I work with GM rice, so I have no issues with GMOs, but would the craft drinkers of the world be as enthusiastic?

I also love the fact one bar is getting patrons used to hop flavours by asking them to smoke some. Interesting......

Sad news.



Jack Joyce, the founder of Rogue, one of the best breweries in America has died. He was 71. Rogue has an increasing presence in Australia and recently I tried their Beard Beer, which is spectacular. More information is below.

Pretty interesting article on brewing yeast. Recently, I attended Good Beer Week in Melbourne, Victoria and a number of brewers mentioned they were using multiple strains of yeast in their brews. According to this article, soon we may not need to do this.
